Sweet Dog Hotel

As owners investing in five dog hotels under construction, players build guest rooms and cafés and try to welcome as many dogs as possible. To become the most respected owner, you need to build lovely rooms in the better hotels and keep your canine guests happy. But the other owners have the same idea. Can you win the competition and become the most celebrated owner in the resort?

On your turn, pick one tile from the display and place it on the matching color on the board. The dogs in the dog run move as many spaces as the paw-print number on that hotel, and when a dog stops on an icon you get a bonus action, such as gaining resources or taking an extra move. Use these to build higher-grade rooms and host more dogs. Before a dog can stay in a room you must first take a reservation, then show the reserved dogs into completed rooms in order, paying the amount printed on each room. You score victory points according to the rank of the rooms where your own guest dogs are staying.

The components are made with great care: a board showing five elegant dog hotels standing side by side, and owner and dog pieces printed in each player’s color. The board fills up nicely as the game goes on.
